Three Little Birds Learning Center welcomes children six weeks up to twelve years old. We help out when children's schools are out for any extra breaks. Three Little Birds also works with teachers on their schedules with no need to pay when they are off for the summer, but spots are still ready for your family to come back in the fall. Please reach out for availability.

Infants

Welcome infants! We are excited to have you here! The Three Little Birds staff will be working hard to create a safe and stimulating environment for you to reach your individual goals. The infants will let us know their schedules and goals they are reaching so we can create the perfect lesson plans, activities, stories and more to get them to each goal before they grow too independent for the infant room! Parent involvement is key! Please share what you are doing at home or goals you are hoping to reach so we can practice while they are in our care!

Toddlers

Welcome toddlers! I see you are getting a bit more mobile now, how exciting! Our friends at Three Little Birds are excited to use that new found energy with a mixture of indoor/outdoor time together. We have also noticed you have learned so much and we need to start challenging your mind a bit more (while getting silly still). Let us use games, sensory, art, music, puzzles and more to make sure we help you reach your full potential and get ready for the exciting next room! It will be a great time learning how to be social with others and bring all of our unique personalities together to learn how to interact and communicate together. We are so happy to see how much you will grow in such a short time!

Twos

Welcome Two-Year-Olds! Wow! You have a lot of goals set for this classroom! Let us help you get there. Your parents and I are working hard together to get started on potty training. We can use books, songs, stickers, charts, whatever it is you need to help reach those goals. Of course that is not the biggest goal we have in the two-year-old room, we have a lot of questions and want to know everything and talk about everything! The teachers at Three Little Birds have an engaging circle time and are ready to hear about the band-aid you got at home, or what book your parent read to you last night. However, in between those stories, you won’t even know you also reviewed and practiced shapes, colors, animals and more! You also met your new best friend and are trying to figure out how to talk and play nicely with them, we can see how hard it can be to problem solve, we can help you find those words and actions. What is one of our favorite times? When it is time to get moving! You have so much energy and so do we! Let us dance, run, shimmy and shake to get those sillies out!

Preschool

You made it all the way to the top floor! You must have worked so hard to get here and we cannot be happier to help you succeed now that you are a big kid! We of course need to get all the fun energy out by being goofy outside, showing off new found dance moves, maybe learning a new yoga pose, and so much more. I see your feelings are so big and sometimes you don’t know why. Three Little Birds cannot wait to talk with you and your friends no matter how you’re feeling. We hope once we all understand why someone might do something, we can start managing our feelings and get ready to keep learning. You are starting to get independent and we recognize that. Your parents and teachers are here to help show you your skills so you can keep practicing and do them yourself, such has putting shoes on correctly, zipping up your jacket, cleaning up after your meal, and more. Your brain is growing and we are excited to challenge it! Let us see how high you can count, tell me the letters you know, can you spell your name? You can keep blowing us away with all you know!

Pre K

We are so excited to see you here, but cannot believe you are almost ready to go to school! Your teacher cannot wait to get you prepared for your next big change! Routines are set just like you would have in school. You will have centers (reading, writing, math, art, science, etc), but you also need time with your friends at school. Together you will grow and learn many things, such as, compromising, patience, sharing, winning/losing, and much more. All that you worked hard to achieve in Preschool, you will take to the next level and be prepared to do big things in school! We are so proud of all you have and will continue to accomplish! Come back whenever you have a break to catch up!

School

You have been using that brain to get those great grades at school. We will see what you know by using science experiments, challenging team games, work books, and anything else you tell us you are interested in. Summer is time to get outside, so we will have water days, reading time outside, picnics, art outside, and the fun will continue all summer. We cannot wait to see you each summer and how much you have grown!
